Total Babe is still a maiden, but her three career starts to date have been promising, and she was just a length behind Mallory in the Widden Stakes when resuming.
While it’s hard to tell with this two-year-old races, this looks to be a drop in class and Total Babe can win.
Birdonawinningpost has returned some nice efforts since debuting and she looks well placed to win this weekend’s Highway race.
The Will Freedman-trained mare has recorded two wins and as many placings from just six career starts, and ran home well to finish fourth, beaten less than two lengths at Gosford last time out.

The Triscay Stakes is always a quality contest and a typically talented field of mares will assemble on Saturday afternoon, including Tailleur.
